The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function and execution of the people strategy. The HR Manager supports a 900,000 sq. ft, multi-shift fulfillment center with up to 1000 associates. Leverage understanding of business goals and objectives to partner with leaders and HR centers of excellence to support:
Talent Acquisition - Partner with recruiters on external hiring and internal movement, Manage Belk staffing levels and partnership to ensure accurate and timely Agency staffing levels. Compensation - Manage payroll for the site, leverage HR data from Workday, facilitate merit planning Performance Management - Facilitate calibration of talent, consult on process activities (goal creation, development planning, quarterly conversations, annual review), partner with business to create and deploy corrective action Talent Management - Monitor progress on talent actions, leverage data to support associate development, career pathing and retention. Employee Relations - Effectively balance business partner responsibility with employee advocacy, and build a positive employee relations culture and work environment Associate Engagement - Develop and implement action plans to improve employee engagement and manager effectiveness, and foster inclusion Develop, communicate and administer company policies and procedures Ensure compliance with municipal, state and federal employment law requirements Lead integration of HR communications to ensure business understanding of timing, objectives and actions for processes & programs Manager to the onsite HR team:
define goals, ensure execution of assignments, develop, and assess performance Conduct analysis of HR programs in the industry to provide competitive and sustainable programs that drive associate attraction, engagement and retention Execute and monitor Diversity and Inclusion initiatives and integrate creative strategies Conduct employee relations investigations, action plans, counseling and make employment termination decisions Work with Legal Counsel to identify risks and develop mitigation plans Support change management initiatives Communicate benefits and life management programs Execute retention strategies Ensure continuous flow on-boarding and off-boarding process Assist with various HR and/or special projects All employees are expected to be in compliance with government and corporate laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures Dependability, exhibits accountability for assigned work, follows up with management as needed and solicits feedback to improve performance Project Management Organizational Development Minimum Education &
Experience:
o Bachelors degree and/or equivalent years of experience o Specific Degree:
Human Resources, Business, related o 6 or more years of applicable experience
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
HR Management, HR Generalists & Business PartnersEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
